Web 3.0 is already a reality

When written in December of 2006, my post, “Web 3.0, la próxima generación de internet” (Spanish), I never imagined that today the concept Web 3.0 would be vital for my daily work routine.

Thanks to an application like Google mail (gmail), iGoogle, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Groups. I’m now working with my colleagues without worrying what to look for in my computer:

• The last version of presentations
• Sharing project schedules
• Arranging meetings
  

All the information is the last version and always online…

Technical description of Google's CEO, Eric Schmidt: Web 3.0 are applications that are pieced together which are relatively small, the data is in the cloud, applications can run on any device (PC or mobile), applications are very fast, very customizable, applications distributed virally by social networks, email, not bought in stores.
